Today had been a really lonnnggg day!! We had to wake up at 5:15am in order to make it to Yilan for 8:00am for YICF. YICF is an event that had been a major summer project for county of Yilan every summer.
I had the opportunity to be a volunteer for the performing art section in YICF, and had the chance to watch people from Bolivia and Russia perform.
I learned that Bolivian girls use their own hair from when they were young as wigs. Every wig ponytail contain different accessories near the end of the ponytail to represent different marital status. When you see a Bolivian girl with mirror accessory, it mean that they're single; when you see someone with a glass attached, it mean they're married; last but not least, the ones with yarns meant that they're either a prostitute or is a widow.
After YICF, we went to Lo-Dong's night market to eat stuffed tapiocas and they were 'yummilicious'!
Anyways, time for me to go to bed, YICF drained me!!!!
